Author Hazel Logan will visit the Kaplan Library on Saturday, August 24, 2019 from 10:30 am- 11:30 am for a book talk and signing
Hazel Logan, is a native of Kaplan, Louisiana, and graduated from Kaplan High School. She realized a
passion for writing in high school. She wrote an article in the Kaplan High School year book.
Mrs. Logan currently resides in Lake Charles, Louisiana. She is the wife to Tommie Logan Sr. (23 years), mother of two sons Tommie Logan Jr. and Thaddeus Logan, teacher, inspirational speaker, business woman and an author.
She is a graduate of Life Christian University with an Associates Degree in Theology. She also was a member of Living Word Christian Center youth and prison ministries.
Mrs. Logan served as a mentor for Louisiana National Guard Youth Challenge Program, located in Gillis W. Long Center.
She was an educator at Unit Tech Training Academy and Delta Tech, where she was recognized by both schools as “Employee of the Month.”
She has a passion for imparting knowledge and making an impact in generations. Hazel continues to shift lives through the word of God and desires to leave a legacy, with her footprints on the sand of history.
