Dining with Diabetes
A four part educational series that will help ADULTS at risk for type 2 diabetes, who are pre-diabetic or who have diabetes in their families.
Learn how to manage manage the condition through menu planning, carbohydrae counting, portion control and label reding. Participants have the opportunity to samle healthful foods using the concepts taught in class.
The program will be conducted by Mandy Armentor, Registered Dietician and Area Nutrition Agent with the LSU AgCenter and Tina Faulk, Registered Nurse with Abbeville General Hospital. The program is co-sponsored by the Vermilion Parish Library.
